Anna and the Apocalypse premiered at ‘Fantastic Fest’ on September 22, 2017. After picking up the rights on January 10, 2018, Orion Pictures will distribute this movie in theaters come November. So, remember to mark your calendars!

Here’s the official synopsis:

A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…

Do check out the hilarious trailer! Anna and the Apocalypse is rated R so expect a bit of gore.

The cast includes Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye.

John McPhail directed the film which was written by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry. Naysun Alae-Carew, Nicholas Crum, and Tracy Jarvis served as producers. The runtime is 92 minutes.

Like I said, I love zombie films or anything that has to do with the undead as long as it puts a unique spin on the genre. Shaun of the Dead was awesome. Zombieland was fun. In the Flesh introduced a new take on the infected even though the series was too early for that time. Now, we have Anna and the Apocalypse bringing something different to the table.

Are you ready for zombie musical? Feel free to let us know.
