Attack on Titan Humble Bundle: Pay What You Want for Over $500 of Manga

Attack on Titan Humble Bundle

I started watching the Attack on Titan anime last year, just before season 2 premiered. After the season 2 finale, I wondered if I should start reading the manga. I want to support the publishers, because I know that sales are how they determine if a series should continue, but it’s expensive to be a manga reader. But Humble Bundle has a way to fix that!

Humble Bundle is a company that sells books, comics, games, and other forms of media at a price that you set. A portion of everything that they sell goes to charity. And starting January 17, the Attack on Titan universe will be available for purchase! That’s over $500 worth of manga that will be available for Humble Bundle’s pay-what-you-wish charitable model.

“The Attack on Titan Universe manga bundle takes the story well beyond the second season of the anime series that concluded last year and goes in-depth into all the side stories of the characters fans have come to love,” said Alvin Lu, General Manager of Kodansha Advanced Media. “With Season 3 of the anime coming later this year, I can’t think of a better way to get thoroughly immersed in all aspects of the universe Isayama-sensei has created.”

The manga will come in various formats (CBZ, PDF, and ePub, among others) so that it can be read on computers, tablets, e-readers, and cell phones. When you purchase the bundle, you choose where the money goes – between Kodansha Comics, two charities, and possibly a third charity of your choice via the Paypal Giving Fund. In the past, Humble Bundle has supported charities like the World Wildlife Fund, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the American Red Cross.
