Today’s the last day to donate to Beach City Con 2017: A Steven Universe Fan Convention! Let’s keep Beach City weird together!

The Beach City Con: A Steven Universe Fan Convention has entered the last day of its Kickstarter campaign. Now is the time to donate if you haven’t already and get an exclusive free gift. The Corundum and Peridotite tier rewards are still available.

Beach City Con 2017 by Saga Event Planning was met with tremendous success since the start of its Kickstarter. The con met its initial goal of $7,000 in less than an hour. The event organizers also announced a stretch goal of raising $35,000 to bring Zach Callison and Grace Rolek to BCC17. Though the stretch goal couldn’t be met, at the time of writing this post BCC17 has raised a total of $23,911. Now, that is very impressive for the very first Steven Universe-centric convention!

While BCC17 won’t be able to bring the voice actors for Steven and Connie, you can expect to meet other famous names during the con. McKenzie Atwood will be attending. Grace Kraft, a storyboard artist and one of the artists on the official Boom! Studios Steven Universe comic book series will be in attendance as well. Furthermore, Judith and Natalie, who are accomplished Steven Universe fans, will be the official face painters at the con. The con has other potential guests they’re in contact with. So, be on the lookout for more updates.

The Beach City Con Kickstarter campaign will end on 30th October at 11:59 PM EST. You can change your pledge to include a full weekend pass (Peridotite tier) or you can access the early bird ticket buying window through the Corundum and Quartz tiers. Donating will also get you a Kickstarter-exclusive gift that is associated with these pledges.

Tickets to BCC17 will be available to the general public on 16th November 2016, at 12:00 AM Midnight EST. The con will be held from October 13th-15th 2017 in Virginia Beach, VA.

Make sure to check out BCC17’s official Facebook, Twitter, and website.
