Comic-Con: Be the First to See the “Mockingjay” Trailer

Screen Shot 2014-07-18 at 3.05.27 PMThough the marketing for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 so far has been AWESOME, fans are anxiously waiting for the actual trailer to arrive. Now we finally have word about how and when fans can get their first look at the much anticipated trailer.

According to an article from MTV, Lionsgate has paired up with Samsung in a partnership to grant San Diego Comic-Con attendees a sneak peek at the trailer on Friday, July 25 at 12pm Pacific, but it’ll only be viewed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. “All fans need to do is make their way to the Samsung Galaxy Experience Capitol Gallery, where select cast members from ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ will be on hand to introduce the trailer,” according to the article.

No news yet on which cast members will be present, though I’m sure fans are hoping for a big surprise especially with the news that there will be no Lionsgate panel for the film at San Diego this year.

If you’re not in San Diego this year, you can apparently still check out the trailer on Saturday, July 26 “at Samsung Experience Shops inside select Best Buy locations. The exclusive preview will be available from July 26-27, with visitors also getting a complimentary pass to see ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ in theaters November 2,” the article continues. Sounds like a cool enough, if not convoluted, deal.  Though non-Android users beware: the article claims that a special movie pack app for the film will only be available for select Galaxy device owners, starting July 28.

Will you be heading to the Samsung Galaxy Experience Capitol Gallery to check out the premiere at Comic-Con? How do you feel about this partnership with Samsung?
