Daddyhunt season 3 continues to talk about safe sex practices while also treating viewers to Graydon and Ben’s relationship journey. Even my man AJ entered the dating pool this season!

I was provided a free screener of Daddyhunt season 3 for review. The opinions are my own.

Daddyhunt season 1 opened with Ben (BJ Gruber) meeting Graydon (Jim Newman) and as their relationship grew in season 2 we saw the web series talk about using condoms and PrEP as well as the stigmas associated with being on such a pill.

In Daddyhunt season 3 (consisting of only 4 mini-episodes. Sigh!), the show picks up three months after the events occurring in the second season. Ben and Graydon are going strong; however, things change when an ex from Graydon’s past appears. With the current season only being 30 minutes long, the writers had a lot to cover. So while I could have done with a few more scenes focusing on the trust issues being experienced by Graydon and Ben, I appreciated what was accomplished in limited time.

With Daddyhunt focusing on safe sex practices, the third season built on the topics talked about in the previous episodes. During the course of 30 minutes, we see the story emphasize the importance of STD testing and partner notification. While dealing with an STD can be tough, partner notification isn’t any easier. However, notifying sexual partners is vital.

Coming to AJ (Michael Snipe Jr.), he ended up meeting Richard (David J. Cork), and their encounter sparked a conversation about being with an HIV positive partner. I hope to see more of the two next season. Also, even though I like Andrew (David M. Farrington) and understand how he feels, he needs to move on. It has been three seasons already!

  1. Honestly, the man reason I joined Daddyhunt on Facebook was because of this series. So looking forward to S3.

  2. Thanks for the review Farid. I didn’t know about it but it looks like something nice so I am happy you did an article.
