‘Digimon World: Next Order’ International Edition Gets February 2017 Release Date!

Digimon World Next Order PS4 game

The International Edition of Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Digimon World: Next Order will ship in Japan on 16th February, 2017, for the PS4. It’ll be available for about $61 or 6,800 yen.

The Western release of the game will be available on 27th January, 2017, in Europe. You can buy it in the US on 31st January. The upcoming title is PS4 exclusive. Players can select English or Japanese voices. Subtitles will be available in Spanish, French, and English.

Soundtracks, an Omegamon digivolution core, and an ‘Adventure Aid’ DLC are bonuses for pre-ordering in the US.

The plot involves players being sucked into the Digital World. They’ll discover that it is under siege by Machinedramons. Players will have to discover the origins of the scourge. They’ll also need to find a way back to the real world. Furthermore, players will nurture and train their Digimon partners for battle.

The game contains over 200 Digimon. Players can recruit and interact with them. They can play as either a male or female protagonist. The game will provide players with two partners. This is a first in the franchise’s history. Strong bonds and effective training are essential for beating the game.

Here’s the English-dubbed story trailer! It looks exciting!

The original Playstation Vita Japanese version of the game included 50 sub-quests. However, the upcoming release will have 120 sub-quests. The protagonist, regardless of being female or male, is a senior high school student.

I’m looking forward to playing the game. I’m also interested in seeing how the game mechanics will work with two partners. The graphics have a nice anime-style to them. It seems to include a lot of action sequences.

The franchise has experienced a resurgence in popularity. A new anime series is on-air. Furthermore, the installments of Digimon Adventure tri have been successful. Though I’m a fan of the original series, it is good to know that the franchise still exists.

Are you excited for the Western release of Digimon World: Next Order? Have you played the Japanese version already? Will you be pre-ordering it? Let us know.
