Digimon Adventure tri.: Future U.S. release Fathom Events

Fans of the Digimon Adventure tri. movie series will be able to enjoy the final installment when Digimon Adventure tri.: Future hits select U.S. screens nationwide on September 20, 2018!

Courtesy of Toei Animation Inc. and Fathom Events, the upcoming Digimon Adventure tri.: Future U.S. screening will include exclusive recaps from the previous two features (Loss and Coexistence) before the final installment is shown to moviegoers. The audience will also get to enjoy taped interviews with Digimon cast members.

Here’s the synopsis for Digimon Adventure tri.: Future!

In this climatic finale, the DigiDestined have suffered; friends are lost, there is a new threat from a mysterious and newly formed Digimon, and the Real World is threatened to be swallowed up by the Digital World. The DigiDestined must stand together to save their friends and our world.Who knows what the future holds for the DigiDestined, as they prepare for their biggest battle yet.

You should mark your calendars for Thursday, September 20, 2018; 7:30 p.m. local time. The screening will be English dubbed.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting Fathom Events or at participating theater box offices. Digimon fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in nearly 500 select movie theaters through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network (DBN).

Digimon Adventure tri.: Future (or Bokura no Mirai) was originally released in Japan on May 5, 2018. It served as the finale to the six-part Digimon anime movie series

While the tri. series has ended, the original Digimon cast is set to return for Gekijō-ban Digimon Adventure which will feature aged versions of familiar characters. Apparently, the new movie will take place five years after the events of the Digimon Adventure tri. series.
