The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD come December 4, 2018, from MGM Television and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The upcoming 4-disc set includes all 13 episodes along with two brand new featurettes.

The Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning drama series, The Handmaid’s Tale, returned for a second season “shaped by Offred’s (Elisabeth Moss) pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead.”

The returning cast members include Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, O-T Fagbenle, Max Minghella, Samira Wiley, and Amanda Brugel.

Moss, Wiley, Bledel, and Dowd have all won Emmy Awards for their performances in the series. The show’s second season garnered three Emmy Awards.

This sophomore season, which premiered on April 25, 2018, on Hulu, also included notable guest appearances from Emmy Award winners Cherry Jones and Bradley Whitford, along with Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei. The second season finale was released on Hulu on July 11, 2018.

The series was created for television by Bruce Miller. The second season was executive produced by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, and Fran Sears. The series is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.
