MCM London: Interview with Battlestar Galactica’s Jamie Bamber
When you hear the name Jamie Bamber, you automatically think Battlestar Galactica. While the show has been over for years, its popularity is still very high. I attended a press room with Jamie Bamber at MCM London this weekend where he talked more in depth about his career and the show.
Jamie Bamber was very interesting to talk to. He has an excellent grasp on the impact Battlestar Galactica had and still has around the world and its relevancy to current events. He talked about his experiences at conventions despite the show being off air for many years, the parallel between BSG and the rise of “AIs” in our technology, and the challenges of working in production in different countries. The actor, who is currently residing in France with his family, shared his next projects, including a French romantic comedy.
