Universal’s Dark Universe “The Mummy” Releases on Blu-ray & DVD September 12, 2017

The Mummy DVD Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD Universal Home Entertainment Release

Fans will be able to accompany Tom Cruise again (soon enough) as he fights an ancient evil. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing The Mummy on Digital on August 22, 2017, and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on September 12, 2017.

The upcoming release will include more than an hour of never-before-seen bonus features. The Mummy home release will take fans behind-the-scenes and more.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Thought safely entombed deep beneath the desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella, Star Trek Beyond, Kingsman: The Secret Service) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day. Her malevolence has grown over millennia and with it come terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sands of the Middle East through modern-day London, The Mummy balances wonder, thrills, and imagination.

The Mummy also happens to part of Universal’s Dark Universe. It’s from director/producer Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek Into Darkness, Now You See Me) and producer Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious franchise). Along with Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella, it also stars Oscar winner Russell Crowe, Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis, and Courtney B. Vance.

Here are the bonus features, which I’m every excited about!
