NEW CLIP from “Captain America: Civil War” Because We Weren’t Excited Enough Already!

A new 60 second clip from the much anticipated Captain America: Civil War premiered during the MTV Movie Awards. The clip features Captain America (Chris Evans), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) fighting together like a well-oiled machine.

Team Cap is in top form as they fight some unidentified military force. Steve drives in shield first with Wanda and Sam as back up. They do things like countdown the number of hostiles they’re taking out and other stuff that a superhero team trained by a WWII soldier might do.

The coolest part is when Scarlet Witch uses her powers to kind of toss Captain America up three storeys and through a window. Especially because he’s like: “Wanda, just like we practiced,” and now I can’t get the image of them trying and failing this move 100 times in a Dirty Dancing-esque training montage out of my head.

I am not going to lie, I really want some kind of team training montage that involves Wanda throwing Steve into solid objects while Sam laughs from the sidelines. That would be amazing. Unfortunately given the time limitations, that’s probably unlikely, so I’ll just have to settle for Steve starting a war to save Bucky.

Another interesting pick up is that they are apparently looking for Rumlow (Frank Grillo), as in Crossbones, which means they might also be looking for Bucky. Hopefully he is alright, but until we have confirmation everyone continues to be on high alert. Or maybe it’s just me; I don’t care, I am very concerned for Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).

All in all it’s a pretty cool fight sequence, but let’s face it, if you’re not already excited about Captain America: Civil War you’re probably not going to be.

Captain America: Civil War opens in Australia on April 28, the UK on April 29, and North America on May 6.
