Loot Pets May 2016: The POWER Collection

POWER Collection Loot Crate Loot Pets

I have to admit, May 2016’s Loot Pets box was the first one that I wasn’t really happy with. I liked the items that came in my Loot Crate Level Up POWER Collection package, but I don’t think Loot Pets was on par with May’s theme.

Don’t get me wrong, my dogs loved the POWER Collection treats – “Chicken Chargers”, which as usual were high quality and made in the U.S. But sadly there were only six chicken chargers in the bag – they were bigger treats, but now I find myself hoarding the last two for when my dogs really need a good treat.

Wendy has particularly enjoyed the Kong Airdog Dumbbell (she loves tennis balls), and even after several days she still hasn’t been able to tear it up (which she normally does with those tennis balls that she loves). That said, I am familiar with the quality of Kong-brand dog toys, so I have a feeling this one will last quite a bit longer than those tennis balls.

The POWER Collection also came with a cute “Pup Power” dog charm and matching owner-and-dog t-shirts featuring Mega Man Rush. Unfortunately, while the dog t-shirt fits Rigby, the owner t-shirt I got is very much the wrong size for me. But this is the first time I’ve received an item that didn’t fit, so I’m thinking it was an honest mistake. Mostly I’m just sad because I can’t wear these matching shirts with my boy Rigby…

Still, I love the design, and I’ll eventually get someone to pop on that shirt and get a photo with them and Rigby…I hope.

I’m definitely still excited for the June Loot Pets box, though – before now I’ve always been very pleased with the contents, so I’m looking forward to what comes next!
