San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Day 3 Roundup! Trailers For Aquaman, Shazam, The Gifted, And More!

SDCC 18 Day 3 was all about the release of trailers for highly-anticipated Warner Bros. properties, including Aquaman, Shazam, and Fantastic Beasts 2. The studio also showcased Wonder Woman 1984. Television also brought the goods with The Flash, Supergirl, The Gifted, and more!

Warner Bros. was ready to take over San Diego Comic-Con 2018 and the studio did just that by releasing a ton of new trailers. Do check out my article about the trailers. I even did live reaction videos to the trailers for Aquaman, Shazam, and Fantastic Beasts 2.

While we didn’t get a trailer for WW84, fans were treated to SDCC exclusive footage which showed Diana rescuing a child. The panel also talked about Chris Pine’s return, how Diana has influenced the world, and more.

Footage from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part was also shown.

Coming to the television side of things, a Steven Universe: The Movie is happening!

Supergirl will be introducing a transgender superhero named Nia Nal played by Nicole Maines. Pave the way, Supergirl. Pave the way!

The upcoming season will air on October 14, 2018.

The trailer for Arrow season 7 shows Oliver Queen in jail. The new season will return to our TV screens on October 15, 2018.

The Flash season 5 trailer introduced the villainous Cicada. It will return on October 9, 2018.

Lots of demons and supernatural beings are coming to the fourth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Are you ready for the October 22, 2018 premiere?

The Black Lightning SDCC 18 Day 3 panel talked about representation in the superhero genre and showed a recap trailer. Also, Painkiller (Jordan Calloway) has been upgraded to a series regular. The second season will premiere on October 9, 2018.

Make sure to read The CW’s lineup, which also includes the premiere dates of Charmed and Legacies.

Fox’s The Gifted released an emotional and action-heavy trailer for its second season, which will debut on September 25, 2018.

Fans go to enjoy the season two trailer for The Orville as well. The show will return to Fox on December 30, 2018.

Lobo is coming to the second season of the pre-Superman show Krypton. Showrunner Cameron Welsh had an interesting thing to say about the show’s characters and fans hoping for more LGBTQ+ representation.
