Fans of Skylanders Academy will be able to watch the entire second season when it debuts on Netflix on October 6, 2017. Skylanders Unite!

The Skylanders are back protecting the realm in the series’ second outing. From Activision Blizzard Studios, Skylanders Academy focuses on the famous video game character Spyro (Justin Long), Eruptor (Jonathan Banks), Jet-Vac (Jonny Rees), Stealth Elf (Ashley Tisdale), Pop Fizz (Bobcat Goldthwait) and their team of young warriors as they travel through the vast Skylands universe to fight evil.

The second season introduces Cynder (Felicia Day) and Sprocket (Grey Griffin). While our team of heroes will have to face their greatest foe yet, Spyro will also begin his journey to know more about his past.

The Skylanders Academy series has been created by Eric Rogers. It is based on the popular Skylanders video game franchise. The premise of the series deals with young heroes training under Master Eon (Chris Diamantopoulos) to learn how to use their powers as well as to protect their magical homeland from harm.

The Skylanders Academy series’ voice cast also includes Norm Macdonald as Glumshanks, Catherine O’Hara as Kaossandra, Parker Posey as Dreamcatcher and Susan Sarandon as Golden Queen.

Season one is currently available on Netflix so you can binge-watch it before the premiere of the second season on October 6. The first season consists of 12 episodes and it debuted on October 28, 2016. The animation is colorful and there’s a lot of humor that’s fun for kids and grownups.

The Skylanders video game franchise is valued at $3.5 billion. It has gone on to sell more than 300 million toys since its debut in 2011. The most recent game, Skylanders: Imaginators was released in 2016.
