Snake Outta Compton DVD Digital October release

Lionsgate will be releasing the sci-fi/horror-comedy film Snake Outta Compton on DVD, Digital, and On Demand on October 23, 2018. Who is in the mood for a monstrous snake?

Snake Outta Compton features a young rap group who finds themselves dealing with a giant, mutated snake that threatens to destroy their search for stardom. With help from two corrupt cops, a mad scientist, and a crazed gangster, the group decides to get the snake out of Compton so they can get the record deal they want.

You can own Snake Outta Compton on DVD for $19.98 SRP. Commentary with director Hank Braxtan and actors Ricky Flowers, Motown Maurice, and Joston Theney comes as a special feature in the DVD release.

Here’s the official synopsis:

It’s a great day in South Central: Cam and his hip-hop crew are all set to sign a record deal that could change their lives. But their jealous friend Vurkel wrecks their plans when he creates a giant, mutant snake that quickly lays waste to the city of Compton, eating everyone in its path. Soon Cam, Pinball, Neon, and Beez Neez cook up a crazy scheme to stop the monstrous, munching menace—blow it away it by pumping up the jams! This horror-comedy is alive with laughs, thrills, and dope beats.

Check out the trailer!

Snake Outta Compton does look like a fun monster movie. As someone who likes films with giant or mutated creatures in them, I can see myself possibly enjoying this flick, too. The trailer makes it obvious Snake Outta Compton isn’t taking itself too seriously. So, it might be worth a watch in October if you aren’t in the mood for scarier titles this Halloween.

Are you a fan of such monster movies? Is the trailer for Snake Outta Compton making you want to check it out? Let us know.
