X-Files Reboot Vinimates Are Great Collectibles!

It’s no secret that we at The Geekiary love Diamond Select Toys. I was lucky enough to interview their Marketing Supervisor Zach at C2E2 earlier this year, and I can’t imagine not being a huge fan of their awesome collectibles – so when they added the X-Files reboot Vinimates to their product line, I was excited to add these figures to my display shelves!

I was lucky enough to receive the X-Files original series Vinimates back in March, and while I was reluctant to unbox them, they have since found a home with my X-Files DVDs (yes, DVDs, I got these a long time ago, don’t judge me). At least this way, I knew exactly where to put the new X-Files reboot Vinimates, right?

As always, Diamond Select Toys has created quality pieces. Both the Mulder and Scully X-files reboot Vinimates come in full-color window boxes and are posed in action, with ball-jointed necks that allow for some positioning.

These new X-Files reboot Vinimates join a pretty great selection of X-Files collectibles from Diamond Select Toys – including both original and reboot series Minimates. I love how the reboot Vinimates are true to what we saw of Mulder and Scully in the new episodes – they are equals, and this may sound cheesy, but I feel like they’re both shining the light on mysteries and fighting the bad guys together, perhaps more so than they even did the first time around. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of the reboot episodes, but I did enjoy the Mulder-Scully dyamic a lot more this time around, and I honestly feel like these figures project that evolved dynamic.
