“Adventure Time: The Complete Series” Debuts on Blu-ray This October!

Fans of the long-running animated series Adventure Time can look forward to owning the entire show on Blu-ray for the first time ever on October 20, 2026, courtesy of Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

Premiering back in April 2010, Adventure Time quickly became a fan favorite as well as being recognized for numerous awards. The series ran for a total of 10 seasons, with the final season debuting in September of 2017 and concluding in September of 2018. Understandably, the show’s wide range of characters gained lots of pop culture notoriety over the years.

Created by Pendleton Ward, the IP still continues in comic books and other media, predominantly in the animation space. Adventure Time: Side Quests season 2 is set to premiere on October 2, 2026. The animated spin-off Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake ended it’s sophomore season on December 25, 2025.

Adventure Time: Bubblegum and Marceline received an HBO Max series order in June of this year. So, yeah, the Adventure Time IP is here to stay. And now fans can own the OG seasons on Blu-ray for the first time ever.

The premise of Adventure Time follows a human boy named Finn and his best friend, a magical shape-shifting dog named Jake. The duo experiences a whole lot of adventures while exploring the Land of Ooo. The narrative has been praised for its coming-of-age arcs and properly handling queer representation.

Talking about the upcoming physical Blu-ray release, it will contain a whopping 278 episodes along with bonus features across 12 Blu-ray discs. The approximate running time is supposed to be 3,652 minutes!

The Special Features include a retrospective documentary with the cast and crew, a documentary about the music of the show, Live Performances, and more. Basically, there’s a lot for fans to bite into.

The Adventure Time: The Complete Series is currently available for pre-order for those interested.
