From Behaviour Interactive, K-pop has made its way to the popular Dead by Daylight game in the latest chapter titled ‘All-Kill’. You can play it today.

For those who might not know, “the name All-Kill refers to when a group’s song or album simultaneously takes the top spot of all eight Korean music charts.”

As for the new chapter, it explores the vibrant and exciting world of K-pop music and culture, with a dark twist. The story features a famous singer, Ji-Woon Hak, leading a double life as well as his producer, Yun-Jin Lee, who is growing suspicious of him. Both characters find themselves pulled into the Fog.

Inspired by the high energy and vivid aesthetics of this global phenomenon, the team brought to life an adrenaline-pumping chapter that oozes with style and blood,” shared Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight.

Ji-Woon Hak is known to his fans as The Trickster. An incredibly popular celebrity, he turns into a calculating serial killer by night. He treats his music and murders as high art. On the other hand, Yun-Jin Lee has been ignoring evidence against Hak to further her career. However, now she has to face the consequences.

‘All-Kill’ is the first time the Dead by Daylight team worked with two consultants to ensure properly representing Korean culture and K-pop. The team worked with singer Kevin Woo (from K-pop group U-KISS) and award-winning music producer DJ Swivel (he has worked with the internationally renowned group BTS).

I love how this chapter captures all the amazing elements of K-Pop including the eye-catching visuals of the characters, addictive music, and cultural backdrop with a horror twist,” said Kevin Woo. “I have no doubt that the K-Pop community will fall in love with this chapter as much as I did and I hope people who aren’t familiar with K-Pop will get introduced to it through the All-Kill chapter.”

Furthermore, to celebrate the release of this chapter, the Seoul Sights Collection is now available in the in-game store. It offers a slew of Korean streetwear-inspired outfits to The Fog. The Collection features some very rare outfits notably the Seoul Socialite for Yun-Jin, the Cut Thru U Performance for The Trickster as well as other outfits for Adam Francis, Feng Ming, Felix Richter, Élodie Rakoto, and Dwight Fairfield.

As for gameplay accessibility additions, two new features are being implemented: the colorblind mode and the chat filters.

Certain fans have already nicknamed Hak because of his aesthetic. They’re calling him the K-pop Joker.
