Another Equally Vague Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Dropped

Stranger Things season 4 has another vague trailer, but it’s just enough to get me super hyped! But when is the release date?

Stranger Things season 4 has been super highly anticipated. Not only did the third season end with a pretty stressful cliffhanger (which, thankfully, they gave some resolution to with their first teaser back in February), but it’s also the longest stretch of time between seasons that we’ve experienced so far. That’s not exactly unusual considering what’s been going on in the world in 2020 and 2021. Still, it’s been a long wait and we’re happy to get another bit, even if it’s vague. The next piece of information I look forward to is the release date!

While the first teaser released last February focused on Hopper, this one is all about Eleven. It brings us back to (presumably) the Hawkins National Laboratory and (possibly?) Dr. Brenner. It’s all pretty vague, but that’s how teasers work and Stranger Things have wielded the art of teasing things incredibly well over the years so I’m fine with this. Doesn’t stop me from being anxious as heck, though. I want more!

Like most things, filming has been disrupted by the pandemic. It originally started filming in February 2020 in Lithuania, but then COVID hit and everything was paused until the fall. Some of the cast has been nervous to film during the pandemic, which is entirely understandable. Heck, I’ve been nervous just going to a grocery store during all of this. But it sounds like they took a lot of precautions on set, so I’m grateful to them all for taking the steps needed to continue their work and bring us more entertainment under extremely stressful circumstances. Hopefully, the cast and crew remain safe, healthy, and happy as the season begins to wrap production.

I look forward to what they have in store for us!
