While fans looking forward to enjoying the Black Widow solo movie have to wait a bit longer, they can experience some new Natasha-centric content come April 28, 2020.

The upcoming 14-episode story, titled Black Widow: Bad Blood, is being promoted as “Black Widow’s Most Personal Mission Yet”. You can listen to it or read it. The choice is yours.

The official synopsis shared:

The Black Widow has been targeted. When Natasha Romanoff wakes up from a night she can’t remember, the mission gets personal. As the Widow seeks revenge, old friends come into play, buried history comes to light, and she begins to realize that the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Black Widow: Bad Blood has been narrated by Sarah Natochenny (Ash Ketchum in Pokémon). The all-female writing team, led by Lindsay Smith (Serial Box’s The Witch Who Came In from the Cold; Orphan Black: The Next Chapter), includes writer Mikki Kendall (Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot and Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists), L.L. McKinney (A Blade So Black), screenwriter Margaret Dunlap (Netflix’s Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron, Black Panther’s Quest), and Taylor Stevens (Vanessa Michael Munroe series).

The first two episodes will launch on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, with new episodes releasing in weekly installments thereafter. The full season is available for $9.99.

You can find the story exclusively on the Serial Box apps available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and through the Serial Box website.

Here’s a sneak peek!

Other Marvel content on Serial Box includes Thor: Metal Gods. Marvel’s Jessica Jones: Playing With Fire will launch on May 14, 2020.

With the comic book industry still trying to figure out how to continue releasing new titles during these unfortunate times, I’m glad there’s still some new Marvel content to enjoy from other platforms.
