Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are partnering up to bring the upcoming Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders to the big screen for a one-day limited showing in October 2016.

We announced the upcoming release of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders a few weeks back. Now fans can experience the 1960s Batman TV series-inspired animated film in theaters next month.

The announcement makes sense as Fathom Events recently showed The Killing Joke as well. While The Killing Joke received a lot of negative reviews because of its depiction of Barbara Gordon, I have high hopes for The Return of the Caped Crusaders. It is a more hilarious and campy take on the beloved DC Comics icons, and I can’t wait to see it.

The exciting thing about the upcoming release is that some of the original cast has returned to voice their respective characters from the TV series. Batman will be voiced by Adam West, Robin by Burt Ward, and Catwoman will be voiced by Julie Newmar.

Fans who attend the one-day screening will also be treated to an exclusive pre-screening introduction. Fans will also get to enjoy a post-screening preview of ‘Those Dastardly Desperados’, a featurette exploring how the villains of Batman ended up becoming icons in American pop culture.

Head on over to the Fathom Events website to learn more about the screening date, the timings, and tickets. Currently, the North American theater release date is 10th October 2016.

Fathom Events will also be releasing the English-dubbed version of Digimon Adventure tri – Chapter 1: Reunion on the 15th of September, 2016. Check out our interview with Joshua Seth, the voice of Tai Kamiya.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders will be released on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) and DVD ($19.98 SRP) on the 1st of November, 2016.  You can own it on Digital HD starting 11th October 2016.
