Deadpool’s Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic Heading to Sydney Supanova

The guest list for Supanova Sydney in July is shaping up pretty well with the addition of two actors that are responsible for a couple of the coolest characters in 2016. Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic play Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus in Deadpool

Another super cool and totally noteworthy guest is Tyler Hoechlin. Hoechlin can currently be seen in Richard Linklater’s film Everybody Wants Some, which will have its Australian premiere at the Sydney Film Festival. Tyler Hoechlin has been a fan favorite since Teen Wolf although his upcoming appearance in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker is testing fans’ devotion.

There’s also a couple of Whedon alums: Julie Benz and James Marsters. Some people that are Charmed: Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, and Brian Krause (get it ’cause they’re from the TV series Charmed, with witches). And a hobbit: Sean Astin, you know Samwise Gamgee from the Lord of the Rings.

Supanova is always a good time; beyond the guests, it’s a great way to meet and greet with fellow fans in Australia. We don’t get a lot of opportunity for that here because we’re so far away from everywhere. It’s definitely worth checking out what’s happening at Supanova if you’re desperate to get your geek fix.

On top of those mentioned above, the guest list also includes: Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Peter Facinelli (Supergirl), John Noble (Fringe), Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time), Jason Davis Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Troy Baker (The Last of Us), Sean Schemmel (Dragon Ball Z), Christopher Sabat (Dragon Ball Z), Frank Cho (Wonder Woman), and Joyce Chin (Red Sonja). For me though, the coolest guest is definitely author Tamora Pierce.

Supanova Sydney is one of the biggest pop culture events in Australia and it’s coming up quickly. The convention takes place on June 17-19. Tickets for Supanova Sydney are on sale now.
