505 Games, which is publishing the PC version of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding in partnership with Kojima Productions, has revealed the title will launch simultaneously for digital retail on both the Epic Games Store and Steam, as well as physical retail on June 2, 2020.

The upcoming PC launch of Death Stranding will add certain features. Fans can look forward to the photo mode, high frame rate, and ultra-wide monitor support for an enhanced experience for PC players. Also, the PC version will feature content from one of Valve’s most iconic franchises, Half-Life.

For those who don’t know, Half-Life was released back in 1998. The first-person shooter was well-received. Fans of the franchise can look forward to playing the VR title Half-Life: Alyx come March 23, 2020.

Here’s the new trailer which provides a first look at the current cross-promotion!

The official description for the game reads:

Developed by Kojima Productions, DEATH STRANDING was one of the most anticipated projects of the last decade. Starring Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges, the game takes place in the near future, where mysterious explosions have rocked the planet, setting off a series of supernatural events known as the Death Stranding. With spectral creatures plaguing the landscape, and the planet on the verge of a mass extinction, it’s up to Sam to journey across the ravaged wasteland to save mankind from impending annihilation.

The groundbreaking experience from legendary game creator Hideo Kojima also features the acting and voice talents of Mads Mikkelsen and Léa Seydoux.

You can go ahead and pre-order the PC version of Death Stranding right now. It has a base price of $59.99. Pre-ordering will get you unique content including HD wallpapers and gold and additional cosmetic items.

Death Stranding was released by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 in November 2019.

It has garnered tons of nominations and awards.

Talking about 505 Games, I’m a fan of a number of titles published by said company. You should check out our reviews of Control and Indivisible. Both are highly entertaining titles.
