Disneyland May Be Closed, But The Quinjet Has Arrived!

Quinjet

While Disneyland and California Adventure are closed due to the pandemic, there are still exciting new things happening. The Quinjet has been spotted!

The Avenger Campus was scheduled to open this summer, but will likely be postponed due to the park closures. I honestly hadn’t expected any new news to come out of it for many months, but then the Quinjet suddenly appeared and proved me wrong. I may not get to go to the park this summer, but I can still catch glimpses of what’s to come and plan for next year.

The OC Register (via MouseChat) has posted aerial pictures of the famous Avengers jet, which is now currently parked backstage near the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout ride. The new Avengers Campus is currently being built in the adjacent Hollywood Land area and the Quinjet should be central to the new land, perched on top of the Avengers Headquarters attraction.

The Quinjet is featured predominately in many of the Infinity Saga films including The Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, among others. It’s also been integral in the Agents of SHIELD TV show.

The new land will feature many Marvel-based attractions including the Spider-Man attraction WEB, Pym’s Test Kitchen, Doctor Strange: Journey Into The Mystic Arts show, and the aforementioned Avengers Headquarters, which was initially scheduled to open a bit later than the rest of the park. Now that the entire land is delayed, however, that schedule may shift. Will we see the entire land open at once Maybe.

Hold tight, Disney park fans. We’re in for a long wait. There are going to be numerous changes when things finally start to open back up on the other side of this. Once the parks open back up, though, there’s going to be a lot of awesome new stuff to experience.

Stay tuned for more!
