Official Launch Trailer for Telltale’s ‘Batman: The Enemy Within’ Released

Telltale Batman The Enemy Within The Enigma

Telltale Games has released the official launch trailer for Batman: The Enemy Within, a new five-part episodic game series that continues Telltale’s unique take on the Caped Crusader. The first episode will premiere on August 8, 2017!

I’ve been waiting for a season two of Telltale’s Batman series. The Enemy Within trailer shows Batman going up against the Riddler. Other familiar faces from the comic book series appear as well.

Here’s the official synopsis for episode one ‘The Enigma’

In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?

Episode one of The Enemy Within, ‘The Enigma,’ will launch on August 8, 2017, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. Furthermore, the series will become available on iOS and Android-based devices in early October. It will also be available at retailers across North America on October 3, 2017, on a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The disc will include the first episode of the season, as well as download access to all subsequent episodes as they are released through an online connection.

Check out the trailer!

Choices made in the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series can be carried over to the new season. The upcoming game will also include the multiplayer ‘Crowd Play’ feature which allows others to help players and join the fun by selecting how the story should move.

Troy Baker returns to voice Bruce Wayne while Anthony Ingruber will be reprising his role as ‘John Doe,’ better known to fans as The Joker. Fingers crossed we get to see Catwoman again!

Batman: The Enemy Within will be a standalone product separate from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series and is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and based on DC’s iconic character. Episode one, ‘The Enigma,’ has been rated ‘Mature’ by the ESRB.
