The covers for the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong graphic novels have been revealed by Legendary Comics. Artist Arthur Adams drew covers for Kingdom Kong, Godzilla Dominion, and the MonsterVerse Titanthology Volume 1.

I’m excited about the Godzilla vs Kong movie being released internationally on March 26 and in the US on March 31, 2021. Legendary Comics is ready to offer fans more content in the form of graphic novels and books. Kingdom Kong and Godzilla Dominion will serve as prequel stories to the upcoming film.

Kingdom Kong has been written Marie Anello with art by ZID. A sequel to Skull Island: Birth of Kong, the story will follow a group of highly skilled military pilots coming to Skull Island to see who can complete a dangerous mission into the hollow earth.

Audrey, one of the pilots, is dealing with memories of a monstrous clash with one of Godzilla’s titanic rivals. The island gets attacked by Camazotz, a bat-like Titan, which forces Audrey to face her inner demons while Kong has to do what he can to protect the island from the Titan intruder.

Kingdom Kong will be released on March 30, 2021. You can pre-order it here. (Update March 24, 2021Kingdom Kong will be released April 6, 2021.)

As for Godzilla Dominion, it’s written by Greg Keyes with art by Drew Edward Johnson and colors by Allen Passalaqua. The story picks up after the events that transpired in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The interesting thing is how this story will be told entirely from Godzilla’s POV, allowing readers to learn more about Zilla’s habitats, ancient rivalries, encounters with new Titans, and other challenges.

It will be released on March 30, 2021. You can pre-order it here. (Update March 24, 2021 – Godzilla Dominion will be released April 6, 2021.)

Coming to the MonsterVerse Titanthology Volume 1, it includes the previously released graphic novels, Skull Island: The Birth of Kong (2017) and Godzilla: Aftershock (2019), together in a single volume.

It will be available on May 11, 2021. Here’s the pre-order link.
