Let’s face it: the world has gone to hell. If there are any bright spots in this situation, it’s the adaptation of convention culture for the health and safety of everyone involved. “Heroes of the Shadow World”, from Jalmics International, is among those, featuring full-day events September 12-13 for anyone who’s a fan of Shadowhunters. After all, who better to see you through a world going to hell than the Shadowhunters?

“Heroes of the Shadow World” is a fully virtual at-home event that runs all day, from 9:30am to 9:30pm (EDT), on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13. This all ages event will feature a number of panels, plus the ability to purchase extras like hangouts, meet and greets, video grams, solo chats, and autographs. (Please note: as of writing this, a number of extras are sold out.)

With the purchase of an At-Home Pass ($15, available here), fans will be able to stream select livestream panels. The pass also grants access to the At-Home Portal, where you will be able to purchase the aforementioned extras, enter exclusive giveaways, and watch recorded footage (like behind-the-scenes videos) for seven days after the event. You will also be eligible for any exclusive pre-event activities and content that gets released.

“Heroes of the Shadow World” will also feature a special charity panel in support of the Trevor Project and the Black Lives Matter movement. A full schedule will be released closer to the event.

Some of the guests for this event include main cast members Dominic Sherwood (Jace), Kat McNamara (Clary), Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle), Alberto Rosende (Simon), and Matthew Daddario (Alec). The full guest list can be found here. (Note: As of writing, Matthew is not listed as attending, but he was just announced on their social media, and he was listed in the press release.)

This event sounds like a dream for Shadowhunters fans! The sheer number of cast and crew that are part of the event is amazing, and there will surely be a ton of great content on the panels. I always loved the Shadowhunters panels at SDCC and NYCC, even before I was a fan of the show, because the cast seemed like they were having such a great time.

If you’re thinking about attending this event, don’t wait too long to purchase your At-Home Pass! A number of extras have already sold out and some of them sound pretty cool.
