‘Hit the Floor’ Summer Special gets a Premiere Date!

The premiere date for Hit the Floor Summer Special has been announced, and I can’t wait to see what creator James LaRosa has in store for us!

He has kept fans busy on social media by posting behind-the-scenes images, answering questions, and even holding a fan art competition. While waiting has been tough, we finally have a premiere date for the summer special!

Fans are invited to Ahsha and Derek’s wedding on the 5^th of September. Those two look amazing in the promotional image. But then again it is Hit the Floor that we’re talking about and drama can’t be far behind. Will the wedding actually take place? We’ll have to wait to see.

If you have been keeping up with my reviews, you would know that season 3 of Hit the Floor ended on an unfortunate note for Jelena. Someone shot her and viewers weren’t told who it was. The upcoming summer special will hopefully answer this mystery. Who do you think shot Jelena?

While a summer special is great and all, fans are still anxiously waiting for a season 4. Why hasn’t VH1 made the announcement yet? What is the network waiting for? We need such a show on our TV screens. It is one of the few current shows that is fun to watch and has amazing representation. More than half the cast are POC, and Zero and Jude (who make up the much-loved queer couple called Zude) are two of the main characters.
