Fans of Hulu’s Into the Dark series will be excited to know a new episode, titled ‘Midnight Kiss,’ will be released tomorrow. The premise deals with a bunch of queer friends trying to survive a serial killer. It will premiere on Hulu on December 27, 2019.

Okay. I had no idea Into the Dark was a thing on Hulu. However, now that I know the upcoming episode will feature queer characters (including a cast of out queer actors), I guess I have no choice but to watch it tomorrow.

A trailer for Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss has been released. It stars Augustus Prew (The Morning Show), Scott Evans (yes, Chris Evans’ adorable brother), Ayden Mayeri (Veep), Lukas Gage (Euphoria), Adam Faison (Everything’s Gonna Be OK), and Chester Lockhart (Glamorous).

The official description reads:

A group of longtime gay best friends head to a beautiful desert home to celebrate New Year’s Eve. One of their annual traditions is to play MIDNIGHT KISS, a sexy but ultimately dangerous challenge to find that special someone to help you ring in the New Year. As friendships have grown strained with secrets, jealousy, and resentment, the group faces another challenge when a sadistic killer wants in. Relationships are put to the test and truths are revealed as the night turns into a fight for survival.

Here’s the trailer!

From what I found online, Into the Dark is a monthly horror event series. It has been produced by Jason Blum’s independent TV studio Blumhouse. Each installment is feature-length and is also inspired by a holiday.

It debuted on the streaming service back in October 5, 2018. The first season consisted of 12 episodes. ‘Midnight Kiss’ serves as the fourth episode of the second season.

I will definitely be watching the upcoming content. And if I end up enjoying it, I think I will check out the rest of the episodes, too.

Also, Evans and Prew worked together in the queer romantic comedy Sell By. As of writing this, that film has a 100% Fresh rating from critics over at Rotten Tomatoes.

I’m always happy to see Evans getting more work.

Anyway, are you fans of Hulu’s Into the Dark? Let us know.
