The Weekend’s Best Twitter Pictures (According to Me)

The-Great-Wall-Of-China-3

So 2016 has been kind of a crap year so far; I don’t think I’m going to get much argument on that. When things are getting crappy, I try and find things that make me smile. In that vein, here are some of the best pictures I saw on Twitter this weekend.

Check out this photo of Matt Murdock himself, Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox, surrounded by his Funko Pop! counterpart. Apparently Charlie contacted the good people at Funko and asked if they wouldn’t mind providing him with a few Pops that he could hand out at planned school and hospital visits. Funko ended up sending him enough to build a fort!

How about this photo of Ming-Na Wen, star of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and voice of Mulan, in which she reenacts one of the most famous scenes from Mulan (the one where Mulan, out of weapons, faces villan Shan-Yu with only her fan) while standing on the Great Wall of China?

How about this photo of Tyler Hoechlin and Tom Taylor from SupaNova Sydney? Tom Taylor, for those who may not know, writes Batman/Superman at DC Comics (among other titles), and Tyler just got cast as Superman in the CW’s Supergirl. They met at the con, where Tyler had Tom sign a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Now of course we don’t want to forget about things that have happened. So check out this photo of counter-protestors, dressed as angels, who appeared at the funerals of victims of the Pulse shooting in order to block the members of the Westboro Baptist Church who showed up to picket.

And let’s remember Anton Yelchin by focusing on what is arguably the best photo of him in existence, shielding a family of ducks from the rain.

What are some pictures you saw this weekend that made you smile?
