“Justice League Action” Gets International Trailer with U.K. Debut This Saturday

Justice League Action

A new international trailer for the upcoming Justice League Action animated series has been released, and it’s all about DC Comic’s iconic trinity!

Justice League Action is an upcoming animated series by Warner Bros. It will premiere on Cartoon Network UK on November 26th, 2016. The U.S. debut will occur on December 16th, 2016. While the show has the words ‘Justice League’ in it, the promotional content seems to be focused on Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. However, we know that the character roster is quite larger that just the powerful trinity.

The pilot episode is titled “Shazam Slam”. Here’s the official synopsis:

In “Shazam Slam,” the villainous Black Adam battles Batman on the Rock of Eternity and unleashes a horde of Djinn determined to turn the Earth back to its pre-human, volcanic state. Affected by the otherworldly powers of these primordial monsters, Batman becomes possessed and is turned into a giant flying Batmonster laying waste to the Hall of Justice, with only Superman capable of taking the fight to the Dark Knight. One by one, the Justice League – with the help of Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) and The Wizard (voiced by Carl Reiner) – must hunt down and defeat each Djinn in order to yet again save the world from destruction.

Judging by the synopsis it does sound like we’ll get to see numerous members of the Justice League in action. The animation appears quite smooth, though it does have a bit of a childish feel to it. Wonder Woman’s hair looks cool, but I’m not sure about Superman and Batman’s designs; however, the voice work is solid.

Speaking of voice work, a lot of familiar names are part of the show’s cast. Kevin Conroy will voice Batman while Mark Hamill will provide the voice work for the Joker. Furthermore, Wonder Woman will be voiced by Rachel Kimsey.

All of the released promotional material has me excited for Justice League Action. I’m not sure if I’ll find it as enjoyable as I did Justice League, but I’m willing to give it a chance. Also, I want to see more of Diana’s new hair style!

Will you be watching Justice League Action? What did you think of the trailer? Let us know.
