The April theme of Loot Gaming was ‘The Hunt’, and it featured exclusive items from famous game franchises including Far Cry 5, Dark Souls III, Monster Hunter: World, and Batman: Arkham City. Check out the unboxing!

I was provided a free Loot Gaming ‘The Hunt’ box for review. The opinions are my own.

When it comes to subscription boxes, I judge them on the basis of the number of items I get, the type of items, the amount of exclusives, and the overall value. For me, even though I’m not a fan of Far Cry 5 and Dark Souls III, ‘The Hunt’ ended up being a good box especially because of the exclusive items.

My favorite item from the box has got to be the exclusive Monster Hunter: World Jawblade Mini Replica. The little item has a lot of detail. It’s also made of high-quality plastic. With Monster Hunter: World becoming Capcom’s best selling title and a live-action adaptation (starring Milla Jovovich) in the works, I can see this replica being considered a very cool collectible which might get you a good price in the market.

Being an exclusive item, I would value it at around $15. I do think you can give it even more.

The exclusive Dark Souls III t-shirt is kind of cool. I haven’t played the game series, but I can see myself wearing it. I really like the color. I value it at $12.

As for the exclusive Far Cry 5 Dopp kitt, I can imagine fans of the franchise enjoying this item. I appreciate it being an exclusive, but I could have done without a toiletry bag, especially one that doesn’t come with a strap I can use to attach it to something. Being an exclusive, I priced it at $12.

You can give the Far Cry 5 poster a value of $1.

I priced the Loot Crate Edition Batman: Arkham City comic book at $4. The comic book serves as a lead-in to the Arkham City game.

The exclusive Bear Trap Pin can be worth $3.

According to my pricing (which is similar to how Nerdy Newb does it), Loot Gaming ‘The Hunt’ gives you at least $50 in value, if you price stuff at the lower end. Such a value isn’t bad for a $30 box, considering the exclusives you get.

May’s Loot Gaming box is themed ‘Pew! Pew!‘.
