The May theme of Loot Gaming, titled ‘Pew! Pew!’, was all about featuring exclusive items from famous shooting games including Overwatch, Destiny 2, and Metroid.

I was provided a free Loot Gaming ‘Pew! Pew!’ box for review. The opinions are my own.

As with the April ‘Hunt’ themed Loot Gaming subscription box, I evaluated the May theme box on the basis of extra value being offered and the quality of the collectible items even though I am not very familiar with the featured franchises.

One of my favorite items from the May 2018 Loot Gaming box has to be the Overwatch D. Va’s Meka Incredibuild Model. This is an awesome geeky thing for anyone interested in build kits. You also don’t need any glue or tape. The entire 3D wood model (approximately 5 inches tall) is well-detailed and of course, you can paint it in the manner you prefer.

You can give this item a value between $22 and $26 depending on where you decide to buy it from.

Talking about Overwatch, the box also includes an Exclusive Overwatch Heroes t-shirt. The franchise also celebrated its 2-year anniversary on May 24, 2018. The main design has characters from the game, with queer character Tracer standing right at the front of the pack. On the back, there is an anniversary logo.

Being an exclusive you can go ahead and give this t-shirt anywhere from $12 to even $15.

The next exclusive item is the Destiny 2 Ghost Keychain. I am not a fan of keychains or Destiny 2. But I still appreciate the quality of this keychain. Pressing the button produces in-game sounds.

Destiny stuff is usually expensive, and considering this keychain is an exclusive, I think you can give it a value of at least $10 if not more.

The box also includes a World of Nintendo Metroid Figure. It is an old collectible, with its licensing showing the year 2016. But yeah, I wouldn’t mind valuing it at $8 or $10.

The poster, which you can give $1 in value, has the same Overwatch design as the t-shirt but with the anniversary logo, too.

The exclusive pin for this month has the words ‘Pew! Pew!’ on it. You can give it $3.

As the Loot Gaming May ‘Pew! Pew!’ box will cost you around $30, going by my pricing, you will get at least $56 in value or even more depending on how you price the exclusives.

June’s Loot Gaming theme is ‘Grub’ and it will include items from Skyrim, Castlevania, Halo, and BioShock Infinite.
