Loot Pets March 2016: The Versus Collection

Loot Crate Review

Since my Loot Crate Level Up packages come a little bit before the Loot Pets box, I always know what the collection is a little bit ahead of time. (I actually refuse to look at the website or social media – I like being surprised!) Therefore I knew that this month’s Loot Pets was The Versus Collection, though as always I was surprised at many of the awesome items included in this month’s box!

When this came in the mail, it was so full of goodies that it was barely held together by the big sticker! I was honestly surprised at how many awesome items came in The Versus Collection, because it seemed to be more than usual…though maybe that’s just because the toy was commanding so much of the space…

I had barely gotten the Batman chew plushy out of its packaging and removed the tags before my dog Wendy grabbed it and ran off with it. What can I say, she likes pulling the stuffing out of things! Also I was amused because I’m so bleh about this whole Batman vs. Superman movie and now I get to watch her try to tear up this very well-made toy for at least a few days. (She works fast.)

As always, the treats are definitely very different and high quality. One of the options in The Versus Collection was “Ruff ’em Ups Fruity Protein Puffs”, though, and to be honest I was unsure whether my dogs would bother with them – but there IS chicken included with the apple and they both loved them just like they did the Sweet Potato Puffs from January’s Loot Pets box. However, those puffs were nothing compared to the Turduk’nstein treats. Let’s just say I have to keep these ones shut in a very high cabinet…(To be honest part of that is because they do smell kind of icky, which is a bit of a downside.)

Other items included a really awesome Star Trek doggie t-shirt, an Alien vs. Predator dog tag, and a Captain America: Civil War collapsible water bowl.

The Versus Collection Loot Pets Loot CrateI take my dogs on hikes and to the park in my city quite a bit, so I can’t wait to use the water bowl! But as I’m not a big Star Trek fan, and as the Alien vs. Predator dog tag goes well with another Loot Crate giveaway item, I’m keeping their appearance a secret until next week or so, when I put together The Geekiary’s first Loot Crate giveaway(s). Yes…there is likely going to be more than one of them, so keep an eye out! For now we have several other awesome giveaways running on the site, and I highly suggest checking them out – we’ve got one with Hillywood Show swag from C2E2, and another for an autographed art print from ‘Silk’!

Obviously The Versus Collection was another Loot Pets hit. Overall I think my pups always agree that the fancy treats are the best part, but Wendy loved the chew plushies from this and February’s Loot Pets box. They may not know any better, but I’m already excited for April’s offerings!
