Fans of the Power Rangers: Dino Fury franchise can rest easy. We finally have a release date for new episodes. The second batch of episodes for Power Rangers: Dino Fury season 2 will debut on Netflix come September 29, 2022.

Announced by Hasbro’s entertainment studio, eOne, the 11 new episodes will close the second season of Power Rangers: Dino Fury. Each episode will be 22-minutes long. PR: Dino Fury is the 29th season of the long-running global franchise.

The current announcement comes as Hasbro’s Power Week (August 22-28) begins to roll out with a bunch of exciting developments about what fans can expect as the iconic PR franchise continues to evolve and expand.

Power Rangers: Dino Fury stars Russell Curry, Hunter Deno, Jordon Fite, Kai Moya, Chance Perez, and Tessa Rao with Simon Bennett serving as showrunner. The events in the second season had the Rangers going back to enjoying their civilian lives after defeating the Void Knight. Of course, peace won’t last for long as the Rangers will need to band together to save the world again.

The trailer for the upcoming episodes shows the Void Queen making her big move, the Rangers being worried about the Morphin Masters, and the return of Lord Zedd!

Simon Bennett shared, “We are so excited for fans to experience the final climactic episodes of season two, where all storylines and threads pay off.” He added, “We’ve packed in twists and turns, as well moments of heart between these amazing Power Rangers, and it is been so rewarding to see these characters grow over the last two years.”

Power Rangers: Dino Fury season one premiered on Nickelodeon on February 20, 2021. It began streaming on Netflix on June 15, 2021. The first batch of 11 episodes for season 2 debuted on Netflix on March 3, 2022.

The show has been praised by fans. PR: Dino Fury also features an openly queer Power Ranger through Izzy Garcia (played by Tessa Rao). Episode 13 ‘The Matchmaker’ from season one showed Izzy dating Fern.

Episode 5 ‘Stitched Up’ from season 2 had Izzy and Fern going to prom together as well as a conversation about the types of clothes Izzy likes to wear.

In my opinion, the creative team has done a good job of developing Izzy and Fern’s relationship and adding queer representation to a famous franchise like Power Rangers.
