Guests and schedule for PaleyFest LA Fall TV Preview 2019 announced

Earlier this year PaleyFest had their Spring event, and today details on the guests and schedule for PaleyFest LA Fall TV Preview 2019 were announced. Some of the shows that will be present include Batwoman, Nancy Drew, and Katy Keene from the CW, Mixed-ish, Emergence, and Stumptown from ABC, and more.

Unlike the Spring event which showcased returning programs, the Fall event will focus on shows that will be making their debut (or return as in the case of Mad About You, and Disenchantment) this Fall. The event will run from September 5, 2019, through September 19, 2019, at Paley Center’s Beverly Hills location.

Tickets for the event will go on sale August 6, 2019, at 9 am PT for Citi cardmembers at citientertainment.com, and for Paley Center Supporting and Patron Members at paley.me/previews or on the Paley mobile app. If those categories don’t apply to you Paley Center Individual Members can purchase tickets starting August 8, 2019, at 9 am PT, with the general public getting their opportunity starting August 9, 2019, at 9 am PT at paley.me/previews or via the Paley mobile app.

Kicking off the showcase on September 5, 2019, will be NBC with a presentation that will include Perfect Harmony, Sunnyside and Bluff City Law at 6 pm with a preview reception. At 7 pm there will be a screening of Perfect Harmony followed by a conversation with some of the cast and executives including Bradley Whitford, Anna Camp, Will Greenberg, Geno Segers, Tymberlee Hill, Rizwan Manji, Spencer Allport, Lesley Wake Webster, Jason Winer, Adam Anders, and Jon Radler.

After the Perfect Harmony conversation, there will be screenings of both Sunnyside and Bluff City Law.

On Friday, September 6, 2019, Amazon will showcase their upcoming animation comedy-drama series Undone with a preview reception at 6 pm and a screening and conversation starting at 7 pm. Among those currently scheduled to be at the conversation will be stars Rosa Salazar, Angelique Cabral, Constance Marie, as well as Creator and Executive Producers Kate Purdy, and Raphael Bob-Waksberg, and Director Hisko Hulsing.

The following day Spectrum Originals will showcase the return of Mad About You with a reception at 1 pm and a screening and conversation starting at 1:30 pm with stars Helen Hunt, and Paul Reiser.

Later on the 6th, starting at 6 pm, there will be a preview reception for The CW’s Batwoman, Nancy Drew, and Katy KeeneThe reception will be followed by a screening and conversation for Nancy Drew with stars Kennedy McMann, and Scott Wolf scheduled to appear. At 7:45 pm there will be a screening of Batwoman which will be followed by a conversation with some of the show’s talent. CW’s evening will end with a screening of Katy Keene. 

On Monday the 9th, FOX will be up with their upcoming shows Almost Family, Prodigal Son, and Bless the Harts. At 6 pm they will host a preview reception with a screening and conversation for Almost Family with some of the talent from the show present. Screenings of both Prodigal Son and Bless The Harts will wrap up the night.

On Tuesday the 10th, Hulu will showcase their new shows Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Dollface with a reception at 6 pm and screenings and conversations for Wu-Tang: An American Saga at 7 pm and Dollface at 8:30 pm. Scheduled to appear at the Wu-Tang conversation will be Co-Creators/Writers/Executive Producers Alex Tse, and The RZA. Dollface talent will include Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Esther Povitsky, and Creator/Executive Producer Jordan Weiss, and Executive Producer/Showrunner Ira Ungerleider.

CBS will be up on the 12th with a preview reception as well as screenings and conversations for their upcoming shows All Rise and Bob ❤  AbisholaThe 7 pm hour will kick off with a screening of Bob ❤ Abishola followed by a conversation which will include stars Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, as well as Executive Producer and Co-Creator Al Higgins, and star and Executive Producer Gina Yashere.

At 8 pm there will be a screening and conversation for All Rise with talent including Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, J. Alex Brinson, Jessica Camacho, Lindsay Mendez, Ruthie Ann Miles, and Executive Producers Greg Spottiswood, and Sunil Nayar scheduled.

Friday the 13th will see TNT presenting their medical series which will see doctors trying to find cures for people with mysterious conditions. Chasing the Cure will have a preview reception at 6 pm followed by a screening and conversation with Anchor and Executive Producer Ann Curry, Showrunner and Executive Producer Kim Bondy, and SVP of Unscripted Series and Specials for TNT and TBS Michael Bloom.

The second to last day will see ABC bringing their Black-ish spin-off Mixed-ish, as well as Emergence, and the Cobie Smulders starring Stumptown on the 14th. The preview reception will start at 1 pm with a screening and conversation for Mixed-ish at 1:30 pm. A lot of talent is scheduled for that conversation including stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tika Sumpter, Christina Anthony, Arica Himmel, Ethan William Childress, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Gary Cole,  and Executive Produces Karin Gist, and Peter Saji. Once that conversation is over there will be screenings for both Emergence and Stumptown.

On September 15th Paleyfest’s Fall TV event will wrap up with both Nickelodeon and Netflix set to showcase new shows. The day will start at 1 pm with a preview reception of Nickelodeon’s The Casagrandes and a screening and conversation about it at 1:30 pm. Set to appear at the conversation will be stars Izabella Alvarez, Carlos Alazraqui, Sonia Manzano, as well as Supervising Directors Alan Foreman and Miguel Puga, and Executive Producer Mike Rubiner.

Netflix will be the final presenter of the event as they host a preview reception for their animated hit Disenchantment at 6 pm and a screening and conversation with stars Abbi Jacobson and Nat Faxon, Creator and Executive Producer Matt Groening, and Executive Producer Josh Weinstein at 7 pm.
