Yas Henny! Queer Eye Season 2 Gets June Premiere Date On Netflix!

Queer Eye Season 2 Netflix

The new Fab Five will be back quite soon on Netflix. Queer Eye season 2 will premiere this June to bring us some much-needed warmth in this world.

I was not expecting Queer Eye to return this soon. But yeah, I am happy about it. Queer Eye season 2 will premiere on Netflix on June 15, 2018. Considering the show doesn’t cost much, I am fine with getting at least three seasons of the Fab Five a year!

Queer Eye is a reboot of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and introduces the new Fab Five made up of Antoni Porowski, the Food & Wine person (I guess he can actually cook or something), Bobby Berk, the Interior Design guy (who doesn’t get enough credit considering the tough job he does), Jonathan Van Ness, the Grooming expert (and our savior), Tan France, the Muslim-Pakistani Fashion expert (Werk!), and Karamo Brown, who handles Culture (some viewers are still trying to figure out why he is part of the show).

Here’s the official logline for the upcoming episodes:

This season, the Queer Eye Fab Five return to the Georgia heartland, forging connections with communities from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from self-love and faith, to immigration and how to make the perfect homemade poke bowls and more!

These series are indicative of what we’re trying to accomplish for Netflix unscripted: working with world-class producers to create the best-unscripted shows on television,” said Bela Bajaria, vice president of content for Netflix when the show was renewed in March. “These series elevate the genre with innovative takes on familiar formats. They deliver immersive and nuanced stories. They elicit so many emotions from viewers, from tears of laughter to tears of joy – and that’s just Queer Eye.”

The series is executive produced by David Collins the creator of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy under the Scout Productions banner. Michael Williams and Rob Eric are producing partners. Adam Sher, David Eilenberg, Jennifer Lane and Jordana Hochman also executive produce for ITV Entertainment.
