Let’s talk about the second day of San Diego Comic-Con! We got panels for Veronica Mars, The Witcher, Dark Crystal, and a whole lot more.

Here are the SDCC 2019 Day 2 highlights!

In The CW Arrowverse news, actor Brandon Routh will be returning as Superman for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Routh played the Man of Steel on the big screen back in 2006. Of course, Tyler Hoechlin will be Superman, too. This is going to be very exciting!

Hulu dropped the new season of Veronic Mars a week early. Yes, we’re all screaming about it!

Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, and Robert Downey Jr. dropped by via video chat to thank fans during the Russo Brothers’ panel.

A trailer for Boseman’s new movie 21 Bridges was shared.

A number of iconic Disney characters will be appearing in the upcoming episodes of DuckTales.

For some reason, Fear the Walking Dead got renewed for a sixth season. Sigh!

We got a trailer for The Walking Dead season 10. There’s a lot happening in the footage and most of it doesn’t make any sense. (Big surprise.)

The Rick Grimes-centric The Walking Dead movie is coming to theatres!

A trailer for Steven Universe The Movie was released.

A song from the upcoming film was also performed.

We got a teaser for Netflix’s new show The Witcher. The teaser didn’t feature much of Henry Cavill and that came as a surprise to people not familiar with the popular franchise. So, I’m telling you all right now, I don’t expect the narrative to be all about Cavill’s character. As far as I know, The Witcher lore is very woman-centric. Cavill’s Geralt is simply the character we see the fictional world through. With women actually leading the narrative, I have a feeling it will be better than how the Game of Thrones TV series handled its women (especially at the end).

Amazon has decided to renew the hard-R superhero satire The Boys ahead of the first season premiere (July 26, 2019).

Amazon continued to hype Carnival Row.

Taika Waititi is playing an app-loving alien in Rick and Morty season 4.

There was a whole lot of Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance goodness. We covered it all. Mark Hamill was presented with the 2019 Comic-Con Icon Award.

The Game of Thrones cast at the Con included Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). The actors talked about their time on the long-running series.
