Themes Announced For “Sterek Week” October 25 – 31, 2017! #EternalSterek

Sterek Week 2017 October

Even though Teen Wolf aired its finale last month, that’s not going to stop the Sterek fandom from continuing to show their passionate love for their ship. Get ready for Sterek Week that’ll run from October 25 – 31, 2017!

There’s a lot of different things fans can look forward to during Sterek Week. The upcoming week-long event will make use of themes to drive the fandom’s creativity.

The fun themes for the week include:

  1. Wednesday, October 25th- Alpha & Emissary
  2. Thursday, October 26th- Scene Stealer
  3. Friday, October 27th- Meet-Cute
  4. Saturday, October 28th- Mates
  5. Sunday, October 29th- Lyrics and Quotes
  6. Monday, October 30th- Partners In Crime
  7. Tuesday, October 31st- Halloween

I’m looking forward to seeing what the fandom is able to create as they celebrate their favorite ship during the upcoming event.

Someone really needs to fix that disappointing Bleach finale if they decide to contribute to the Scene Stealer theme on October 26, 2017.

You can check out the official Tumblr for more details.

While Sterek fans continue to create fanfics, prompts, art, etc. on a daily basis, it’s awesome to see everyone coming together for an organized event.

Though Teen Wolf is no more (and hopefully will continue to remain so until Jeff Davis is far away from the property), the Sterek fandom split from the TV show a long time ago. So, it won’t be surprising if the fandom continues to flourish for years to come because unlike a majority of other ships it isn’t dependent on new content from the show’s creators.

Sterek is eternal!

Also, it doesn’t hurt that the fandom can always come up with new and exciting stuff from whatever projects Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Hoechlin work on in the future. There is no escaping the ‘Sterekfying’ of what those two do and I love it!
