Bust Out in Song with Steven Universe and Fathom Events

Steven Universe the Movie

Start working on your vocal exercises, everyone. In conjunction with Cartoon Network, Fathom Events is bringing Steven Universe The Movie to theaters for one night only. Ring in spring with Steven and the gang, and you can sing along!

Originally announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, and airing on Cartoon Network in September 2019, Steven Universe The Movie bridges the gap between Steven Universe and the limited-run epilogue series Steven Universe Future, which premiered this past December. Set two years after the series, the movie deals with a deranged Gem attempting to wipe out life on Earth.

This epic music-filled adventure finds Steven thinking his time defending the Earth is over, but when a new threat comes to Beach City, he faces his biggest challenge yet.

Now the film is coming to the big screen in this magical, music-filled event, courtesy of Fathom Events. Fans nationwide can join Steven and the Gems as they try to save the planet, and they can sing along to their favorite songs while they do so! (I have done events like this before, and can I just say that they are always super fun? I highly encourage y’all to be as loud as you want.)

But that’s not all! Attendees will receive an exclusive commemorative poster (first come, first served, and there are limited quantities, so get there early). They’ll also be treated to a special sneak peek of the Steven Universe Future finale, which airs on March 27.

That’s right. Sing your heart out with Steven, Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst, and then likely bawl your eyes out when you get a preview of potentially the last ever episode of Steven Universe. EVER.

Steven Universe The Movie Sing-A-Long Event happens on Monday, March 23, in theaters across the US. Tickets are on sale now. Visit FathomEvents.com for a list of participating theaters (subject to change).
