“Super Heroes Say Please” by Morris Katz – Book Review

Super Heroes Say Please

Manners are important, and the Super Heroes Say Please book by Morris Katz is here to help kids learn about them in a fun manner using iconic characters from DC Comics. Also, it will do good for certain adults to relearn their own manners. I’m just saying!

I was provided a free copy of “Super Heroes Say Please” for review. The opinions are my own.

Downtown Bookworks has an amazing selection of titles featuring popular characters from DC Comics. I’m always looking forward to new books by this publisher. All of them are just so good!

Super Heroes Say Please is another fun entry which has some very important content kids (and certain adults) can learn from.

Here’s the official description:

Even when the fate of the world is at stake, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman don’t forget their manners—and neither should you! When Batman and Robin are hot on the trail of the Joker, they still say “Please.” When Wonder Woman swoops in to help in the nick of time, Superman always says “Thank you.” And she takes the time to say, “You’re welcome.” An action-packed board book illustrated with beloved classic DC art, Super Heroes Say Please is the only etiquette book your child will ask for again and again.

I recently reviewed The Big Book Of Super-Villians by author Morris Katz, and the author brings his unique writing style to Super Heroes Say Please too. Considering this is a kids’ book, everything is presented in a very simple manner. However, that doesn’t mean adults can’t have a laugh while reading it. An example is a page which shows Batman and Robin take turns spinning Penguin. Who says you can’t fight crime while being polite?

The art in this title is retro again, which I’m a fan of. This 20-page board book (8×6.5 inches) will cost you $10.99 (US)/$13.99 (Can). You can go ahead and pre-order it right now if you’re thinking of buying a book which can make for a wonderful gift.
