The WebToon Canvas Festival encourages readers to check out and support WebToon Canvas series. This event began on July 29th and ends on August 3rd.

I’ve reviewed a lot of WebToon Canvas comics here and elsewhere, and some of them haven’t reached 1K subscribers yet. And there are others still under the radar. There’s so much potential deserving of praise and recognition. Below are 17 WebToon Canvas comics (with under 1K subscribers) previously reviewed on The Geekiary. Listed in my July Webcomic Roundup. After a war among humans, the robots are seemingly the only ones left. An insightful AI narrative about autonomy and existence.

 

Wondrous: An Aro/Ace Coming of Age Story by A Colorful Reader (Creator’s site is unavailable)

Listed in my LGBTQ+ Slice of Life Recs. Paisley wonders why she’s not into romance and dating as her friends. But then a new friend introduces Paisley to the ace/aro (asexual and aromantic) spectrum, and things begin to come together.

 

Factory Town by snail legs

Listed in my May Webcomic Roundup. Two young men decide to escape the factory they’ve grown up in.

 

This is Not the End by Serapheir

Listed in my July Webcomic Roundup. Vera, a privileged citizen of Palacious, dies during a protest and wakes up. Now she’s one of the undead, and she is starting to see her city in a different light.

 

Tin Takes Over by drafterwriter

Listed in my February Webcomic Roundup. Nancy Neptune, now an adult, isn’t the role model you think she is. And it looks like her giant robot Tin is getting replaced by another sentient mecha.

Listed in my cat comics recs. An adorable and heartwarming slice of life about a cat couple.

 

Catopia University by Supercolony

Listed in my March Webcomic Roundup. Leon the cat becomes the chosen one and enrolls in Catopia University. There, he ponders on his purpose and tries to fit in.

 

O Human Star by bluedelliquanti

Listed in my July Webcomic Roundup. Alastair Sterling, dead for the last 16 years, wakes up in an artificial body. He finds himself in a future where society has benefited from his inventions. A Queer AI story that explores identity and consciousness.

 

Touch and Go by Kendial

Listed in my July Webcomic Roundup. What if you can slip in and out of people’s bodies easily? A webcomic that questions control and autonomy when it comes to having extraordinary abilities.

 

A Week in Warrigilla by Pi and Teloka

Listed in my June Webcomic Roundup. Girlfriends Hazel and Willie encounter supernatural happenings while on their trip through rural Australia.

 

Wraith and Water Elemental by kblub (Creator’s site is unavailable)

Listed in my March Webcomic Roundup. Ara, a water elemental, and Koal, a wraith, spend their days together reading, playing video games, and more. An endearing slice of life webcomic.

 

The Alchemist’s Chronicle by Alchemy Kat

Listed in my July Webcomic Roundup. Aren gets his chance to escape from his abusive boyfriend and empty life when he finds a magical book. However, opening the book leads to him being involved in a conflict between gods. Aren must fight inner and literal demons to get through this trial.

 

Our Ohtli by VisualComics

Listed in my short webcomics recs. Five stories, five narratives to follow. Five friends embark on the journey called life, enduring heartbreak, challenges, and triumphs. (Note: Ohtli means road in Nahuatl).

 

ADHD (Always Distracted Hailey Delgado) by dellcartoons

Listed in my slice of life webcomics recs. Hailey Delgado deals with her ADHD every day. She tries not to let it get in the way of her work and personal life, but sometimes you just have to learn how to adapt.

 

Strike L by Tani Andrews

Spotlighted back in April. Reya questions her self-worth after turning down a date. An encounter with an alien boy begins to help her understand what it means to be in a relationship. Currently on hiatus, but the story so far holds promise. It’s cute, heartwarming, and overall impressive.

 

Sausage Cat by sausage cat

Listed in my Caturday webcomics recs. A hilarious episodic comic about sausage cats.

 

Soup or Salad by TomMikeHill

Listed in my March Webcomic Roundup. An episodic comic about a warthog and a human.
