For those of you looking for a new fantasy/action platformer, WarriOrb will be making its Steam debut on April 28, 2020. Are you ready to play as a demon trapped in a ball with limbs?

WarriOrb allows you to take on the role of a mighty demon trapped in an unlikely body – a talking ball with agile limbs. According to the press release, “in this Soulsborne-inspired jaunt where death is the least of your worries…”

Will you be able to face other demons, menacing giants, and slimy mutants?

Here’s the comedic trailer!

The official description reads:

WarriOrb is all about regaining your freedom – and your original demonic form. After all, you are the Spirit of the Unknown, forced into a pathetic ball body and blamed for the failure of a Very Important Summoning Spell – one that was supposed to bring the Wizard’s daughter back to life (but didn’t). Now it’s up to you to find another way to resurrect her …

Such is life.

The Key Features include:

  • Exploring a tragic story of loss and despair told as a comic escapade.
  • Running, jumping, bouncing, and rolling your way to freedom.
  • Marveling at the fact that everything is out to get you.
  • Challenging your skills and reflexes against the deadliest of traps.
  • Solving difficult puzzles in between traps!
  • Commiserating with friendly (and unfriendly) fellows along your journey … while the world is ending.

WarriOrb will be available on Steam (Windows/Linux) Tuesday, April 28 for $14.94 (a 17% discount). On May 5, the game will return to its original retail price of $17.99.

Take note; this title is also due on consoles later this year.

You can wishlist the game on Steam, here.

As for the developers, headquartered in Hungary, Not Yet is a multinational indie studio founded by siblings Géza, Csaba, and Anna Molnár – along with Daniel Butum and Richard Raski. The team’s primary goal is to experiment with all-original gameplay mechanics in unexpected settings.
