Fantasy Bullet Hell Survival Game “Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors” Get Steam Early Access This September!

BKOM Studios and Paizo have announced that their fantasy bullet hell survival game Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors will be getting Steam Early Access come September 14, 2023. Are you ready to face hordes of enemies?

Set in the world of Pathfinder, the premise of Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors deals with disgraced lich-emperor Tar-Baphon thinking of a plan to escape after being sealed away beneath his ancient seat of power, Gallowspire. With the wards keeping him in place weakening in power, it falls on three brave heroes to venture into the Gallowspire’s depths to battle a seemingly endless army of the undead and foil Tar-Baphon’s plans.

You can choose to play as a Fighter, Wizard, or Rogue. Each character comes with unique strengths and talents. You can also select an ally to fight alongside you. Defeating enemies will help you collect and upgrade a variety of spells and weapons.

Failure doesn’t really mean anything. A mysterious amulet helps heroes escape death and you are ready to try again, this time stronger than before.

Judging from the trailer, I do like the colorful visuals and the cartoonish art style. There seems to be a lot to choose from when it comes to the type of spells and attacks at your disposal. Leveling up lets you select a card to let you upgrade your Attack or a Passive ability. You can also roll a die for Loot. Potions can also be used during battle. And sticking true to the genre, the gameplay appears to be fast-paced.

The Fighter character is a female warrior named Valendis. The Rogue is a man named Kyra. And the Mage is a man named Milarus.

Take note; the promotional image depicts a male Fighter and a female Rogue. And due to the ‘Switch Skin’ option present during the character selection screen, I think you will be able to change the ‘gender’ of your character if you want to.
