This year was a weird one!  With the COVID-19 pandemic spreading across the world, with particularly bad hotspots in the United States, SDCC decided to convert to the SDCC@Home system.  Our coverage was a little bit different this year, but we were no less enthusiastic to bring you coverage from the con.

What to Watch SDCC@Home
In an effort to keep some semblance of normalcy in a very unusual situation, Comic-Con International stuck to their yearly tradition of releasing the San Diego Comic-Con schedule two weeks in advance, even though this year’s SDCC will be entirely virtual. With the last day of programming being released earlier this afternoon, the full panel schedule is finally available. Let’s take a look at some of the SDCC 2020 panel highlights.

The Best SDCC@Home Panels For Aspiring Creators
San Diego Comic-Con is best known for flashy celebrity panels and big reveals, but it’s also a place for aspiring creators to get advice from top industry talent. With all programming moving online this year, those who haven’t been able to get a ticket can finally tap into that resource.

COVID-19 Related Panels at SDCC@Home
For a lot of people, SDCC is an escape from the pandemic and the last thing they want to do is think about it during the con. But for a lot of us, panels focusing on it are exactly what we’re looking for.
