Kevin Smith SDCC Event Tickets Are Now On Sale!
San Diego Comic-Con is quickly approaching and news is starting to come out at a constant stream. The latest news comes from Kevin Smith.
Judging by the volume of events Kevin Smith is planning on having at San Diego Comic-Con, it seems like he’s missed the convention just as much as we all have. In addition to his Hall H panel (the first Hall H panel announced for the con), he is holding four separate offsite events and taking over a restaurant in the Gaslamp district. Kevin Smith is as much of a staple to Comic-Con as long lines, crowded exhibit halls, and exhaustion. It shouldn’t be surprising he’ll have a large presence at the con.
All four offsite events will take place at the Tin Roof in the Gaslamp District, which is is being converted into a “Mooby’s” for the duration of the convention. Tickets are $30 with a two drink minimum. Tickets for a Mooby’s Meal prepaid pickup are available separately. These are also $30. Pickup times are scheduled from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
Each ticket [for a prepaid meal pick up] includes a Mooby’s Meal with your selections of a Moo Main + Salt Lick Side (vegan & non vegan options available). Mooby’s Soda, additional salt lick side items, and yummy desserts.

For the first of the four events, Kevin Smith is teaming up with comic writer and journalist Marc Bernadin. He’s written stories for both major comic juggernauts – Marvel and DC – and was a winner for the 2018 Inkpot award. Bernadin has also been a staff writer on several popular shows, including Star Trek: Picard. He co-hosts the podcast Fatman Beyond with Kevin Smith.
Jay and Silent Bob Get Old @ Mooby’s San Diego
Friday, July 22nd – 7:00pm
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes sit down in the wake of San Diego Comic-Con to talk about fun stuff for fans to look forward to. Have some good, clean fun while getting filthy with this pair of foul-mouthed middle-aged hetero-lifemates!
Jason Mewes hardly needs an introduction, but just in case you’re out of the loop, he’s Kevin Smith’s co-star in the popular Clerks series of films. They are truly one of the most infamous duos out there.
Clerks, Too @ Mooby’s San Diego

Are you excited for Clerks III? Clerks, Too is here to scratch that itch in the meantime! Watch Kevin Smith joins forces with a bunch of Quick Stop counter jockeys to chat about the forthcoming flick LIVE at Mooby’s Pop-Up in San Diego!
If you’re a Clerks fan, this is probably the one to aim for. Well, this one and Jason Mewes, of course. And both of these are on the same night. Do you want to have your entire night dedicated to Jay and Silent Bob? Then get tickets to both! Do remember that it’s a two drink minimum per show, though, so be prepared to nurse that hangover on Saturday.
Hollywood Babble-On @ Mooby’s San Diego
Saturday, July 23rd – 9:00pm
Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman are spilling all the piping hot Hollywood tea LIVE at the Mooby’s Pop-Up in San Diego!
Ralph Garman is Kevin Smith’s cohost over at his other podcast, Hollywood Babble-On. Expect loads of snark. This will probably be a spicy show, if their history is anything to judge by.

At $30 for a simple pick up meal, and a separate $30 for an event ticket with a two drink minimum, this is a pretty pricey offsite. That said, it’ll no doubt be worth it for Kevin Smith and Clerks fans. For the rest of us, it might be a bit much. It’s still nice to see things actually getting announced, though!
