Kayou “Chase the Magic” Trading Card Sweepstakes Brings Your Original “My Little Pony” Character to Life

Fans of My Little Pony and collectible trading cards have the chance to bring their original My Little Pony character to life via the ‘Chase the Magic’ sweepstakes by Kayou.

Kayou, China’s No.1 collectibles company and top trading card brand, in collaboration with Hasbro, has released the much-anticipated My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards – Moon Edition 2 in the US. Along with the release of new trading cards, there’s also the ‘Chase the Magic’ sweepstakes that will allow a very lucky fan to collaborate with acclaimed My Little Pony comic artist Andy Price to debut a brand-new pony character!

Whoever ends up winning that awesome opportunity… Yay!!! But also, I’ll be jealous as heck. Ha!

Following the 15th anniversary of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series in 2025, the current series of trading cards brings forth stunning artwork and a bunch of exclusives.

The rarest Shining Celebration – Zenith Rare (◇ZR) card visualizes “the Mane 6 in a dazzling commemorative scene filled with music, sparkle, and joyful party details.”

Other chases are the Crystal Fantasy – Secret Rare (SC) cards that “combine the ponies with sparkling gemstones,” and the Shimmering Goldflow – Super Golden Rare (SGR) cards that display “what each pony wore to Equestria’s Grand Galloping Gala.”

There are a total of 189 cards to collect, across 10 rarity levels. The series also includes a U.S. exclusive PR card “that recreates the giant artwork painted live at New York Comic Con by Andy Price.”

Also, there are 20 autographed cards by Price that have been randomly inserted into boxes for very lucky fans.

You can get your hands on these My Little Pony cards by Kayou via major retailers, including Amazon, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Barnes & Noble, as well as the livestream commerce company Crossing.

Talking about the ‘Chase the Magic’ sweepstakes, here are the details!

• The first 30 lucky fans who manage to pull and verify a Shining Celebration – Zenith Rare (◇ZR) card will qualify for a grand prize draw. These fans will also have the opportunity to receive a free PSA grading by Kayou for their ◇ZR card.
• The cards can be entered and verified by visiting the official sweepstakes page on kayouofficial.com. You will need to upload photos of your card as well as ship the card for physical card verification.
• The One grand-prize winner will get to collaborate with Price to design a “brand-new pony character inspired by themselves.” Take note that said character “will appear in the future edition of Kayou’s MY LITTLE PONY products.”
• The winner will also be gifted an oversized version of a Kayou card featuring the newly created artwork.
• The sweepstakes is only for residents of the United States who purchase the US version of the cards. More information can be read on the official Kayou website.

The official entry period of the ‘Chase the Magic’ Sweepstakes is February 1, 2026, at 12 AM EST through May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM EST.

Kayou was kind enough to send over a couple of My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards – Moon Edition 2 cards for me to open. And though I didn’t pull the Shining Celebration – Zenith Rare (◇ZR) card, I think I pulled some good ones.

The artwork and the embellishments made me smile. Also, the lenticular cards took me by surprise.
