‘Ed, Edd n Eddy’, ‘Courage the Cowardly Dog’ & ‘Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’ Get DVD & Digital Releases!

The kid in me is so excited about this! Warner Bros Home Entertainment will be releasing the complete classic Cartoon Network series Ed, Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends on Digital and DVD come October 18, 2022!

The upcoming October 18, 2022, release date marks the first time Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Complete Series and Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends: The Complete Series will be made available on Digital and DVD.

Take note; Courage the Cowardly Dog: The Complete Series will be made available on Digital for the first time on the same date, too.

All three animated series were produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Oh, the memories.

Talking about Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Complete Series, the show premiered back on January 4, 1999. It ran until June 29, 2008, for a total of 6 seasons. The show also had 4 special episodes. A television movie came out on November 8, 2009. While it might not have been for everyone, I greatly enjoyed watching this series as a kid.

The total runtime for the home release will be approximately 1,450 minutes. The DVD release will consist of 10 discs covering 66 episodes. The show has been rated TV-Y7/G. The collection will cost you $64.99 SRP USD and $74.99 SRP CAD.

As for Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: The Complete Series, this animated series debuted back on August 13, 2004. It ran for 6 seasons. I wasn’t the biggest fan of this particular show, but I do remember watching a bunch of episodes and kind of enjoying them.

The total approximate runtime for this release is 1,738 minutes. It has been rated TV-Y7/G. The price tag comes in at $69.99 USD. I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the DVD release, consisting of 79 episodes, came with 10 discs.

It was announced in July of this year that a reboot of the series is reportedly being worked on.

Courage the Cowardly Dog: The Complete Series will be available to own on Digital via Digital Retailers. The show’s pilot premiered back on February 18, 1996. The series ran for 4 seasons. A crossover animated film Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog was released on September 14, 2021. Courage is truly an icon!

The total runtime for the upcoming release comes in at approximately 1,250 minutes. The show has been rated TV-Y7/G. And the collection will cost you $49.99 SRP USD.
