“GTA 6” Finally Gets Much-Anticipated Trailer Before 2025 Debut!

It’s finally here. With the fandom spending years trying to get their hands on leaks and other spoilers, Rockstar Games has released the first official trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 video game. The title is looking at a 2025 release!

If you have been keeping an eye on the GTA fandom, you would be aware of a trailer recently leaking online. The good news is that Rockstar Games decided to pivot the situation by releasing the actual trailer early. And from what has been showcased in the latest visual treat, GTA 6 is going to more than deliver. Even though I’m not the biggest GTA fan out there, I’m excited!

From what I could understand after going through online chatter, this is going to be the first installment in the long-running franchise to feature a female lead character. Her name is Lucia and we see her being asked why she’s in prison. The trailer seems to hint at a story (very Bonnie and Clyde-vibes) between Lucia and the game’s male lead named Jason.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the gameplay will feature both characters. Will players need to switch between the two depending on the storyline or can they complete the entire game with just one character and then replay the game with the other one? Will Lucia and Jason be able to flirt with other characters? I would like to know.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are portions in the game that include flashbacks to explain Lucia and Jason’s shared history.

The present-day segments seem to have a lot of focus on social media. And while the trailer didn’t show much of the gameplay aspect, the visuals do look great. I mean, that beach! Players will be driving their cars right through there. The mods are going to be fun, too.

You just know more leaks will continue leading up to the game’s actual release. So, we should find out more details about the gameplay soon enough.

Debuting back in 1997, GTA 5 was released in 2013. Fans have eagerly waited more than a decade for a new chapter in the series and from what the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has shared, it was worth it.
