Netflix’s Gilmore Girls Revival Has a Title and a Poster!
Every single snippet we get about Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival makes it more real and that makes us more hyped. If a title and a poster makes us this excited, we’re not going to survive the actual show.
The title, revealed by Lauren Graham AKA Lorelai Gilmore on The Ellen Show, is Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. It’s sentimental and cliche and absolutely everything we want from the return of the Gilmore Girls. We then got poster with the tagline: “Live more. Laugh more. Eat more. Talk more.” It’s all very Gilmore Girls.
It’s official. We know this because now there’s a title. #GilmoreGirls pic.twitter.com/kOVW3rEhMk

Picking up eight years after the series ended, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will consist of four 90-minute episodes, with each taking place in a different season. Most of the original cast are returning including: Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Yanic Truesdale and Melissa McCarthy.
“It’s been the most incredible experience,” Graham said. “I feel so lucky to get to do it but it’s also been so bizarre because I open the door — we’re across the street from you, which wasn’t the case before but the set is the same but we’re in a different place. So it’s like it was yesterday but also it was not yesterday.”
It’s all just a little emotionally overwhelming. These characters are so lovely and we can’t wait to have them back in our lives. At the same time it’s super nerve-wracking because we don’t know what’s going to happen! Will the characters we love so much get a happy ending? Probably, but there’s no doubt it will be a bumpy ride to get there.
We don’t know when the series will officially premiere, but as promotion heats up, so does anticipation.
